HOW TO LOOK GOOD.
Good looks are really more than skin
deep, depending entirely on a healthy
condition of all the vital organs. If
the liver Is inactive, you have a bilious
look; If your stomach Is disordered, you
have n dyspeptic look; if your kidneys
are affected, you have a pinched look.
Secure good health and you will sure
ly have good looks. “Electric Bitters’’
is a good alterative and tonic. Acts
directly on the stomach, liver and kid
neys. purifies the blood, cures pimples,
blotches and boils, and gives a good
complexion. Every bottle guaranteed.
Sold at Howard & Wlllet’s drug store.
50 cents per bottle.

Tho tramp hastily swallowed down
the drink, and as the rich liouor

I ran across Lieut. Col, Robert 1,.
Berner the other dap. and his thoughts
were only of t|he wur. He is very anx
ious to get to the front with bU regi
ment and hopes yet to ride down the
streets of Havana with the victorious
American legions. He tabooes all po
litical palaver, and one cannot gather
from his conversation that he had ever
made a race for governor. Col. Berner,
last December, was presiding over the
state senate, with his ambition direct
ed to higher political preferment. In
the spring he was shaking the bushes
of the state as n gubernatorial candi
date. Today he has abandoned his law
books and !b an officer of the army

cf experience for a man to have in tha
course of eight months.
Mr Charters, of Lumpkin county, re
marked to me: “There Is a wrong im
pression prevalent as to the personnel
of the next geheral assembly. It is
commonly believed that very few mem

the roll of the nrw one. The truth Is
that there will hardly he less than
