Augusta Railway Co. Did a Dig
Business Yesterday.
The heaviest business done by the
Street railway since the summer season
cj ned was that of yoslerdsy.
All lines had on extra cars and were
taxed to their utmost to accommoda.e
the many who silent an hour or so in
enjoying a trolley rdc. The Turpin
Mill line did the bigg, s* business, each
motor ear carrying three trailers. The
crowds that went out to camp were
handled in a splendid manner, no hitch
i c'orring. Cars were run ten minutes
apart.
Inspector Glovcer, who had the duty
of dispatching the enrs, d'.il his work

Mr. John Quinn Honorably Dis

Mr. ohn Quinn, Co. K, Second Geor
gia. V. 3. V., is in the city. He has
left the army. He has contracted
rheumatism ami lias been honorably

and popular young man. who has been
spending a few months' vacation at his

friends aro glad to see him again, after
his pleasant sojourn at Darlington.

Master Perrin Smith, the son of Dr.
James V. Smith, who resides on Wal
ton Way. Is recovering l from the Inju
ries he received a few days ago over
ill South Carolina. It Will be remem
bered that he was badly bitten by a
hog, narrowly escaping with his life.

Robert Feliester, the ten months’ old

Mrs. Mary Thomas.
Mrs. Mary Thomas, of Hackle Row,
died yesterday morning at 9:30 o’clock
at the city hospital, where she had
been far treatment. Mrs. Thomas was
48 y4ars old and leaves one son, Mr.
