A man I* a fool In hi. youth, mg eon.
And nottr I* wise till hla course he run:
, For a woman's eyes or the gleam of
gold
Will dazzle hla wlta till he's old—so
old!
And the flirt of a shirt or the thrill of
a song
| Will soften hi# heart for long—an long!
j And a woman's sighs or a woman's
tears
Will make him a slave fore years and
years.
' A man is a fool at worst—and best—
| And his life Is s grim and a guilty Jest.
With a gush of Joy or a gnsp of pain.
And the round of hts labor and over
again;
But bts toll grows less and his griefs
. depart
When he feels the throb of a comrade's
heart.
An<J hla life is a beautiful vision while
He lives In the light of a loved one's
smile.
1 A man Is a fool for his pride and greed
Will take him heyond the farthest need.
[And the bauble of wealth or the bubble
fame
i Will he seek to his grief or lasting
shame;
{But a woman's love Is of all the earth
Man's rightful gift and of greatest
worth,
And who studies the world In his dear
love’s eyes
Is happy indeed, and wise—sn wise!

maps are double the size of any others
published, and clearly printed on heavy
paper. Each one has a marginal Index
and a page is devoted to the flags of
all nations. This
useful. Tt is not for sale at the stores.
The Herald hag arranged for a special
