of the treasury hos decided that under
existing elrcumstanrea there are no
rocsons why Spanish vessels Bhould
not enter, load and clear at the ports
in the T’nlted States. Collectors of
custom will be Instructed to this effect
today.

To Clean the Gilt of Picture
Frames. Remove from the walls,
dust very carefully, take out (he glas
ses. and sponge the framework with
spb its of wine. The sponge must not
eor-ain too much moisture, only just
sufficient to remove auy stains thnt
might he observable on the gilt.
Leave the frames to dry in the air.
