campaign so far. The populist-reimbll

ceded now that the democrats will car
ry the county. The campaign has been

both sides have made of clean a sweep
after votes as they could. Congressman
W. U. Brantley Is billed for a speech
here on Saturday, and a good deal of
interest Is already being manifested in
the speaking by democrats. He is mu
klng a vigorous campaign, und his Work
is having a telling effect.
Col. J. M. Wilkinson and Maj. .1. F.
Hanson of Mncon will spenk here on
the 29th. It will be Col. Wilkinson's

ent campaign .and he will discuss tho
