HADE NIGHT HIDEOUS.
Alice Flies Raised Sand at the Jail
Last Night.
• Alice Files, a well known recorder's
court character, waa arrested yesterday
afternoon and carried to headquarters
and after having been confined In a
cell for a short while she decided to
make night hideous. She made noise,
much noice. and sang at the loudest
and beat on the floor. The Jailor was
summoned and tried to quiet her. It
was not a success. She continued to
make the night more hideous and acted
like a wild woman. The Jailer was
forced to place her In a special cell re
served for natty people, taking a crazy
prisoner out of the latter cell and plac
ing him in the one occupied by Alice.
Today she was fined, as is told of
in another column.
