The Mill Operatives Did Not Meet
Last Night.
A Herald reporter wended bis wav
out towards the Augusta factory last
night. He was looking for a meeting.
He walked up and down the streets,
but stumbled across no meeting. The
hall that the meeting was supposed to
have been held in was decidedly dark.
The rumor that the meeting was going
to be held proved to be a rumor only.
