A BURNING HOUSE.
Parsonage of Rev. C. A. Crawley, of
Tilton, Destroyed by Fire.
Tlftiin, Ga., Nov, I.—-At 4:80 o'clock
Sunday afternoon the alarm of lire was
sounded, and upon reaching Central
avenue, the Methodist parsonage, a
Uchl two story building, w»* found tu
be ablaae.
The tire was soon lieynnd control,
having started In the kitchen, and a
stllT hreesc blowing the flames through
the body of the house. The parsonage
was occupied by Rev. C. B. Crowley
and family.
Mr. Crowley has been confined to hla
bed with sickness for two weeks and
had to be quickly carried from the
burning building by friends.
The family wearing apparel and part
of the furniture were burned and that
which was moved vas considerably
damaged from handling.
The parsonage was valued at about
S9OO. The furniture was insured for
S3OO. ___
