Trolley Pole Breaks and Falls on
Private Shewmake.
Private Shewmake, of Company H.,
engineer corps, sustained a painful ac
ritkmt yesterday atiernoon while rid
ing on the Monte Sano car line.
Private Shewmake was riding on the
footboard of one o f the trailers when
the trolley pole broke and In falling
struck him on the face with such force
as to badly shatter his nose. He was
taken to the camp hospital, atui medi
