THE CURFEW. St. Louis Children Under 15 Years Must Be in at 8 P. M. St. Louis, Nov. 8. The curfew bill, designed to compel children under 15 years of age to be off the strets at 8 p. m. In the winter and 9 p. m. in the summer, has been passed by the city council. The bill originated with Colonel Alexander Hogeland, of Louis ville, president of the boys’ and girls’ national association Mayor Zeigen h?.in assured Oglonel Hogeland he would sign the bill and thus make it law. Burglars have been troubling the resi dents of the Boulevard Wilmington. Charles Taylor's dwelling has been entered twice and some small articles taken. B. F. Shaw’s home was entered, but nothing was taken, and an unsuccess ful attempt was made to rob E. T. Hardesty. On tbe window sill of Mr. Taylor’s house hair and hairpins were found, and It Is believed that the bur glar is a woman. In 1887 Mr. Thomas Mclntosh of Al lentown. Tenn., had an attack of dys entery which became chronic. "I was treated by the best physicians in East Tennessee without a cure,” he says. The same ceremony was gone through with the bride and when the pastor finished asking her the question if she would love honor and obey, etc., the brides maid touched her arm and the bride handed the pastor a card with the words “I do."
