FIRST OFOROIA
Savannah, Ga., f-ov. k.—Col. Alex
Law-ton say* that the First Georgia
Regiment will certainly he mustered
out. on November 10, so far as he I*
able to Judge now.
Statements have been mada, recently
that the regiment would not be dis
charged from the service until Nov. 15
or 20. These statements were made by
the commissioned officers of the regi
ment, and when It became gen-nally
know that the regiment would not be
released on November 10 there was con
siderable dissatisfaction.
Colonel Lawton is doing BU In his
power to have the regiment In shop
for muster out on Nov. 10. All of the
discharge sheet*, which were made out
some time ago, were dated Nov. 10. The
work of building the shacks at the
camp In Macon has been completed,
and all of the heaters placed In them,
making a snug place for the men to
