not caring to hold them, caught hold
of his thumb very gingerly, which en
raged the beggar ao much that he

The Young Men's Christian associa
tion will offer a rare attraction to tbs
men of the city this afternoon at 3:39
o'clock, In the shape of an add ese by
Rev. Dr. Young J. Allen, the well
known and schola: !y missionary. He
is one of the greatest scholars of this
country and his addresses are masterly
efforts.
The men of the city cannot afford to
miss this address, as it will be some
thing unusual. The singing will be
good, and will be led by Dr. Geach,
who Is an excellent leader. All men
invited and a special invitation is ex
tended to the so’.diera to be present.
Mr. Geach will give the boys an illus
trated talk at five o’clock, and It
should be heard by every boy In vM
eity.
