There Is a gentleman In Augusta
•who has been promising his wife a
piano for a great length of time, put

then with that. Finally she determined
that excuse would no longer go. 80,
the other day, after they bad finished
breakfast she told him that unless he
went to Broad street and bought the
long-premised instrument he would get
no dinner that day. He says that he
bought it, but did not relish her six
hundred dollar dinner.
