GRISWOLD'S IMPROVED COTTON EINS.
PIIIIK. subscriber will continue the manufacture of Gina on his
I usual extensive scale, and embraces this opportunity to thank
his numerous customers for their liberal patronage heretofore. The
estimation in which his Gins are held ‘may be known from the fact
of his having sold more than two thousand during the last three
years—probably ten to one over any other factory in the State. This
evidence of the superiority of his Gins, is accounted for by his being
the first to introduce the late improvements, and keeping the lead
by yearly adding ndw one*. His first and second improvement* made
the quality of cotton perfect, though some were rather slow. His
third made them sufficiently fast. It then oul) remained to make
them more durable und convenient, which has been done he believes
effectually, by several new improvements the present year : besides,
he has the exclusive right for the State, with the prisiTege of other
Sections, to furnish Reid’s Patent Water Boxes, which are believed
to be ten times more durable than any other, by those who have
made a fair trial of them; and are infallibly serure against fire by
friction. His fine Gin* will gin Mastodon Cotton as well as any saw
gm can. His agents will visit planters generally, and exhibit speei
raensof Instate improvements, and point out their advantages iu
time for all to engage and be supplied before the next ginning sea
son, or engagements can be made by letter, dinned to him, Clinton,
Jones county, Georgia. Gins will be delivered at the purchaser’s
