Du. J. G. Gibson:—Sir: I have a negro bov
who was violently attacked, over a year ago, with
acute Rheumatism. Having tried every remedy
that was reputed to be valuable, but all to no good
effect, save a mere temporary relief from pain, I
wus at last, induced,At the suggestion ot .< fri* nd,
to trv the virtue of vour IJNCH’S ANTI-RHEU

I procured a Box of you —administered the
Powders according to directions, and though my
boy was so badly lamed, in his feet and ancles,
that he could scarcely walk, and his arms and
wrists so inflamed and swoieii that he could with
the greatest difficulty use them, vet ahoutthe fifth
day after beginning their use he commenced to
improve and continued to ininrove rapidly—so
that, iii a short time, ho was relieved of Jill pain,
went to work, and has continued well up to the
present. In short, where »:s;ny hoy for twelve

IF YOU have contracted the terrible disease i
which, when once seated in the system, will
surely go down from one generation to another,
undercutting the constitution, ami sapping the
very vital fluids of life, do not trust yourseif in
the hands of Quacks, who st art up every day in a
city like this, and till the papers with glaring
falsehoods, too well calculated to deceive the
young, and those not acquainted with theirtricks.
You cannot be too careful in the selection of a
remedy in these cases.
The Fluid Extract Bucha has been pronounced
by eminent physicians the greatest remedy ever
known. It is a medicine perfectly pleasan tin its ;
taste, and very innocent in its action, and yet so j
thorough that it annihilates every particle of the [
rank and poisonous virus of this dreadful disease; j
and, unlike other remedies, does not dry up the >
disease in the bleed.
Constitutional Debility, brought on by self- |
abuse, a most terrible disease, which has brought j
thousands of the human race to untimely graves, i
thus blasting the brilliant hones of parents, and ;
blighting in the bud the glorious ambition of I
many a noble youth, can be cured by this infalli- I
ble remedy. * And as n medicine which must j
benefit everybody, from the simply delicate to the j
confined and deUpviring invalid, noequnkis to be |
found acting both as a cure and preventine. |

every mode of treatment that could be devised.
These cases furnish striking examples of the salu

JULES HaUEL. Esq., the well known perfumer
of Chestnut street, Philadelphia, whose choice
products are found at almost every toilet, says:
“ I am happy to say of your Cathartic Pills,
that l have found them a better family medicine
for common use, than any other within mv
knowledge. Many of my friends have realized
marked benefits from them and coincide with
me in believing that thev possess extraordinary
virtues for driving out diseases and curing the
sick. They are not only effectual but safe and
pleasant to be taken, qualities which must make
them valued by the public, when they are
known/
The venerable Chancellor Ward law, writes from
Baltimore, loth April, 1854:
“Dr. J. C. Aykk—Sir: I have taken your Pills
with great benefit, for the li.stlesaness, languor,
loss of appetite, and Billious headache, which has
of late years overtaken ine in the spring. A few
doses of your Pills cured me. I have <psed your
Cherry 'Pectoral many years in my family for
coughs and colds with dnfailing success. You
make medicines which cure, ami 1 feel it a pleas

John I\ IJ. attv, Esq., Sec. of the Penn. Railroad

“J'.l. /.'.Vi'. Ofu'e, Philadelphia, Dec. 13.1953.

The widely nil owned S. o. Stevens, M. D. of

“ i I aving u>vd your Cathartic Pills in my prac

invaluable purgative. In rt aseS of disordered
functions ol the liver, causing headache, indiges*,

perfectly "safe, qualities which make them an in
valuable article for public use. 1 have for many

in no wise inferior to that admirable preparation

what feelings of rejoicing I write, can only be
imagined when you realize what 1 have suffered
and how long.
“ Never until nowha*e I been free from this

“About nine weeks ago I commenced taking
your Cathartic Pills, amt now, am entirely free

Cant. Joel Pratt, of the ship Marion, writes from
Boston, 2<‘th April, 18.54.
“ Your Pills have cured me from a billions at

which had become very serious. 1 had failed of
any relief by my Physician, and from every rem

have completely restored me to health. I have
given them to my children for worms, with the
best effects. They were promptly cured. 1 re
commended them .to a friend £>r costiveness,
which had troubled him fur mouths; he told me
in a few days they had cured h.m. You make
the best medicine in the world, and I am free to

Read this from the distinguished Solicitor of the
Supreme Court, whose brilliant abilities have
made him well known, not only in this, but the
neighboring States.
“A’«?«• Mean*, sth April, 1854.
“Sir : I have great satisfaction in assuring you
that myself and family have been very much ben

two years since, of ft severe and dangerous cough,
by your Cherry Pectoral, and since then has en
joyed perfect health My children have several
times been cured from attacks of the Influenza
and Croup by it. It is an invaluable remedy for
thesft complaints. Your Cathartic Pills have en
tirely cured me from a dyspepsia and costiveness
which has grown upon me for some years,—in
deed this cure is much more important from the
fact that l had failed to get relief from the best
Physicians which this section of thj country af
fords, and from any of the numerous remedies I
had taken.
“ You seem to us. Doctor, like a providential
blessing to our family, and you may well suppose
we are not unmindful of it.*

“Senate Chamber, Ohio, April oth 1804.
“ Dr. J. C. Aybr —Honored Sir: l have made a
thorough trial of the Cathartic Pills, left me by

dreadful rheumatism under which* he found me
suffering. The first dose relieved me, and a few
subsequent doses have entirely removed the dis
ease. I feel in better health now than for some
years before, which I attribute entirely to the ef

Yours with great respect,
