HpHE Copavia Balm is, of all the medicines
JL employed ill combating tho chronical nnd

called whites; the only ono, the specific action of
which has never been doubted, nnd to which
physicians hnvo in consequence given the prefer

causes of its being rciectod hy many pntients.
This is the reason why so many experiments
Imvo been made in order to discover some inode
of disguising its taste, so that it might be taken
with less repugnance; but hitherto this has been
but imperfectly effected, and ulways by addition
of some active substance which modifies its pro

cannot occasion the slightest repugnance, und

Rose Ointment,
F OR Totter, Ringworms, Pimples on the
Face, und other cutaneous eruptions. Tet-
tersj Ringworms, nnd herpetic eruptions gener
ally, are among the most tedious unu disugreeublo
nflections to which the human frame is liable.
Situnted as it wore, on the verge of vitality k fa
almost impossible to reach them by inward rente«
dies. Hence the inefficacy of undergoing a course
of medicine, or subjecting ourselves to the un
comfortable system of strict dint: such means by
reducing, tlio system merely palliate the symptoms
while they are in practice, to recur tut violently,
or more so, when a generous diet is returned to.
And the generality of external npplicntionshnve
no other effect than the diseaso in ouopluce.soou
to show itself in the same oranother part. When
all those .means have failed, and in many severe
