five as it appears to have no hing more for its
ohjedl than to expose what the author calls the
villainy of those who relate wonders 3cc. &
dangerous as it tends to prepare the minds of
the young and inexperienced to dilbelieve &
Icoff at every thing marvellous, however true.
Tljis we arc ourselves, on refitdlion, induced
to believe dangerous doilrine ; because our
Holy Scriptures are nothing but a continued
history of wonderful and marvellous events.
