UR. PIERRE E. BRANDIN’S,
Genuine. hiti-Rheumatic Salve.
riIHIS well approved remedy, has been by
JL many repeated trials found to excel all oth
ers as yet offered to the public, for the cure of
all sorts ofUlieujr.atisni; its efficacy in giving
speedy relief in this com plaint, is astonishing!
not only in easing the pain, but in dissolving
the coagulated ly mph which fixes itself on va
rious parts, and by continuing to remain station
ary, produces incureable lameness. Moreover
it is an excellent remedy to allay the pain of the
Gout, Paralytic Pain, help local Palsy, obviate
Gangrene, remove the Cramp, the Tooth-Ache,
and the Crick in the back. It is superior to al
most every other application for burns & scalds,
and if applied immediately, extracts the fire al
most instantaneously. It infallibly cures bruis
es and sprains, broken breast, sore nipples, ul
cers and sores. It is good for the mumps, sore
threat, the hooping cough, the piles, ar.d any
kind of pain or ache,
\V hen mercury has been used and by reason
of a cold becomes fixed (as it comrr.oidy does)
in the joints, by which means a joint swells, is
stiff and painful, by applying the Anti-Rheuma
tic Salve, one may expect to be relieved in a
short time; however, in some very ebstirate
cases, or of long standing, the warm-bath may
be had recourse to with advantage, previous to
using the Salve. •
The author being well known in the treat
ment and cure of Rheumatism, assures the pub
lic, that neither mercury nor any of its com
pounds, in any shape whatever, nor any ingre
dient injurious to health, enters the composi
tion of the Anti-Rheumatic Salve, which is off er
ed to the public not as a cure all, but as an ex
cellent and as an excellent and safe remedy for
external application. He relies on the Salve to
recommend itself. -
No sea vessel should be without this very val
uable Salve, and all families ought always to
keep it in their houses.
Certificate of Dr. Thomas Fitch, J\“o. £27 Worth
Wmlk Street, Phi!a<lelphia.
I the Subscriber, a regular practitioner in
Physic and Surgery, now a citizen and inhabit
ant of. the City of Philadelphia, do certify and
say, that I have examined Docter Pierre E.
Bran din’s Genuine Anti-Rheumatic Salve, and
and having had it in my family, and for the good
and benefit of the public, I do recommend it
and particularly to those who are afflicted with
the complainte for which its. Author recom
mends it. In faith of which, I have signed
tire present Certificate this day, October the
24th 1815. Signed, THOMAS FITCH.
Witness, Peter Wm. Gavtier.
Certificate of Ija-vid Ayres.
IDavid Ayre’s.do hereby testify, that I have
been milch troubled with, the - Uroiiica) Rheu
matism, or Wandering Gout for years, hearing
of Dr. Pierre E. Brandin’3 Genuine Anti-Rheu
matic Salve, I bought a small box for trial, and
finding it gave me immediate relief, aid ans\* or
edmy purposes better than any thing of thei
kind as yet offered to the public, induced me t 6
buy one of his large boxes One of my daugh
ters for some time was sorely a’iflictod with
Biles breaking out in various parts offer br dy,
and we* 1 * very troublesome to her, she uppoed ;
the said salve (as directed) to her bites, in a few ,
minutes her biles were easy , and m a short ume ;
cured. Therefore- from the gjod that I anil ]
my family lias received from Dr. I’. E. Li’s Ueij
uiue Anti- Aheumatic Salve, I freely rcCnndlfenu
it to the public, w ishing my fellow creatures to
be relieved as I have been, considering the said
saive as far as my knowledge will admit, to be
an excellent, safe aud extraordinary remedy for
external application, and doubt whether any
other can surpass it In faith of v. ii ; ch l hav c
signed and delivered the present certificate in
presence of Peter Wm. Gautier.

Nezv and Valuable Medicine.
Mi. MELIEN’S
COUGH DROPS.
THIS new and elegant balsam bids fair to
stand unrivalled in its merits, for Consump
tion* and Coughs, and we boldly venture to as
sert, that no Medicine has ever gained so much
credit in so short a time as this composition ;
scarcely a case occurs, but may be relieved by
the timely use of it, many having lately used it
in so ted consumptions with tin. most surpris
ing success, who were given up by the most
skilful! physicians in the country. Many certi
ficates of its efficacy accompany each bottle.
This is to certify, that in June, 1818,1 was
seized with a very distressing cough, pain in
my side, great weakness of the lungs, and it con
tinued until July*, 1819, which confined me to
the house, and part of the time to my bed—l
had tried every thing as 1 thought, but all in
vain, I was at last induced to make trial of Dr
.Helien’s t.ough fit-ops, which gave me immedi
ate relief, increased iny strength, and restored
my former sleep. 1 can with the greatest con
fidence recommend them to all who are afflicted
with those complaints, as a very valuable medi
cine. NANCY FOURNF.,
