Copy of a letter from C. If. JJoyley, Esq. JVb. 28 E. Bay,
u Charleston, March 8, 1814.
Dear Sir,-—I feel much pleasure in having it in my
power to communicate a surprising cure, effected by
the medicine I purchased from you, termed Dr. Robert
son’s Elixir of Health. I will state the following facts :
about the latter end of Nov. last, I procured from you
some of the Elixir of Health, for a boy of mine, who
had labored under a violent cough for more than 12
months, attended with slow fever and shortness of
breath, it had reduced him so much that I concluded it
w'ould terminate fatally. He took many other medi
cines and found no relief. He continued to use the
Elixir for about three weeks, when his cough, fever
and shortness of breath ceased, aud he is now in good
health, havingmad no return of his disorder. Should
any person wish to have more particular information, I
will, with pleasure, satisfy their enquiries, by applying
to me. I am, Sir, your’s, &c.
To Dr. John Dyott. C. W. Dotlet.
Chester District, December 3, 1813.
Dear Sir, —When in Charleston last, I called on you,
and purchased two bottles of your Stomachic Elixir of
Health, which you recommended to me to take for a
cough and an oppression on the breast. I have since
used the medicine according to your directions, and
found it to be very beneficial to me in removing the
complaints: therefore F think it my duty to recom
mend it to all persons afflicted with the above com
plaints to give the medicine a trial.
I am, dear sir, your’s with respect.
