YUISHA W. CALLAWAY committed a colli ij blooded aud brutal murder in killing my brother, Lewis J. Lnird, on the 3d of January, last, in tliis place. A. H. Bailey (Hill Bailey) was eugaged in the base act, and is equally guilty as accessary. I immediately offered a reward of five hundred dollars each, for their apprehension to be lodged in any safe jail in the State, io that they could bo brought to Justice. The Governor of this State lias sluce offered a reward of two hundred and fifty dolars for each or either of them to be delivered to the proper authuritiee of this county (Coffee co.) I have now concluded to change my offers from five hundred dollars for each, to Seven llundjcil and Fifty Dollars for Callaway, and Two Hundred and Fifty for Bailey. The rewards now stand (the Governor's included) Ou Thousand Dollars for Callaway, ami Five Hundred Dollars for Bail*}'.— These amounts will be promptly paid whenever the murderers are delivered as above. Callaway is about twenty-seven years of sge about six foet one inch in height; weighs about 100 lbs., is very straight and of fine personal ap pearance; complexion and hair very light, eyes blue, nose a little Roman, lips thin, has one or more front teeth plugged with gold. He ordinarily has hut little to sny, but is well educated and very intelligent, and is very fond of dress and liquor lie is left handed, is a gambler by profession, aud win be apt to follow gaming for a liviug wherever he may go. He lias a scar on his left arm near the elliow, caused by a pistol bull. Bailey is about twenty-live years old. about five feet six or seven inches ill height, weighs about 109 lbs., is somewhat chunkey built, eyes blue, lniir auburn color, his luce has a peculiar redness, ami appears somewhat spotted. His voice isratliei gro s und harsh,and liis education is quite limbed. He is a horse jockey and picayune gambler, by profession.
