EAR AND EYE. DBS. LEBRUN & DUFTON, OCULISTS AMD AURIBTH. DR. LEBRUN offers to thorn suffering flroui deafness, his infallible sural remedies. which have boon successful iu nearly three thousand cases of confirmed deafness! Those remedies have la-on pronounced by Drs. Khramer, of Berlin, ami Deleau, of l’arls, and Curtts Pilcher, of London, us ths most wonderful STcr applied for diseases of In ternal and middle ear. They comprise different courses for the various diseases that afloct the ex ternal and middle ear. l)r. Lebrun warrants a cure in every case, where the ear is perfect In its formation. He has eighteen certificates from those who have beeu deal from infancy, whose hearing is now completely restored, and they are now ena bled to learn the language! Ovor twenty-seven hundred cases of deafness have been successfully treated by him. Certificates to that effect may be seen on application. Xu all cases of deafness arising from inflamma tion, thickening, or even perforation of the mem brane tympanl,’usually called the ‘druminflam mation of mucous membrane of tbe tympanum and cuatmhain tubo, with accumulation of mucus; norvous affections, polypus growths, Ac., or when the disease can bo traced to scarlet, typhus, bilious or intermittent fever, colds, the use of quinine or mercurial medicines, gatherings in the ears of childhood. Dr. DUKTON.the only practitioner In the United (States who practices the new. painless, and suc ceasful nn-thod ill treating aU diseases to which the Eye is subject, where every other means have failed'to afford relief; lie asks from such a lair and Impartial taial. Patients sending a few particulars of their case, can have remedies sent to any part. TESTIMONY, “ We the undersigned, practitioners of medicine in tlis city of Now York, having had occasion to witness tile practice of Drs. l-ehrun and Dutton, in diseases of the Ear and Eye, laying aside all pro fessional jealousy and prejudice, freely admit the course pursued by them in treating diseases of those delicate organs, from the unparalleled suc coss which has altended it, is well worthy the at tention of „ur professional brethren throughout’ the United States. Their system of treating disea ses of the middle and internal ear, by the use of •medicated vapors,’ particularly in chronic and complicated cases, forms anew era in tho practice of aural surgery, and tills up a void which lias long iieeu felt liy the general practitioner. In diseases of tho eye, they seldom require to resort to an op eration. As skillful Aurists and Oculists, and en thusiastically devoted to their profession, wo cor dially recommend them to such as may require their aid.’’ Signed, Aluxandcii K. Mott, M. D. Ueoruk S.
