We had another sloppy day on yester- i day, and at the time we went to press the clouds betokened a bounteous supply of the aqueous fluid before the weather breaks. Our streets were innocent of crinoline yesterday, and we fear the weather will be so bad for a few days that our ladies will have a bad time tor fixing up for the holidays which are now almost upon us. Commerce of New York. The total imports of foreign goods into New York during the eleven months of 1857 cndiDg Dec. Ist, amounted to $209,- 214,000, against $199,978,000 for same time last year. The imports of foreign specie for the same time this year have been $11,613,- 000, against $1,567,000 in 1856. The exports of specie in 1857 from New York have been $37,024,000, against $35,441,000 in 1856. The deliveries of California gold during the eleven months of the year 1857 were $29,935,968, against $36,838,100 last year. Exports of produce of the United States from New York in 1857, $58,971,000. against $71,007,000 in 1856. Foreign goods re-exported from New York in 1857, $9,729,000, against $3,- 763,000 in 1856.
