Larielle, at St. Louis, direct from Suit Lake city, states that communication between tbe peace com missioners and Brigham Young is kept up daily, and u most peaceful feeling pre vailed, (ien. Harney was met on the'Jth at O’Fallen’s Bluff', 105 miles west of Fort Kearney. Harney had aCheyenuo chief with him, whom he designed accom panying to Ash J follow, for the purpose of making peace with his nation. Mr. Larielle also met Col. Monroe at Scott's Bluff, and Col. May at Plum Creek. Later intelligence has been received at St. Louis, which states that Gen. Harney was overtaken by* the expross with or ders to halt. He, however, intended meeting the Cheyennes in peace council before returning. Fire at. Buflalo. Buffalo, July 22. — A fire broke out at three o’clock yesterday afternoon in the elevator attached to the freight, depot of the New York Central Rail Road Cos., ou Ohio street, completely destroying it with its contents, consisting of seven hundred bags of coffee, valued nt $14,- 000 ; forty hogsheads of sugar, valued at $7,000, and forty tons of dry goods, valued at $30,000. Tho building and machinery were vulued at $30,000, and were owned and occupied by the Now York Central Rail Road Company. From Ulo. Letters received in England from Rio mention the fuiluro of Messrs.
