PRIZE QUESTION, (20.) By Mr. P. Fleming, Civil Engineer and Surveyor, N. Y. If at a point within a given circle, the three angles be observed which are subtended by three contiguous arcs of the circumference, of which the two extreme arcs are given in magnitude, but not in position ; it is required to determine the magnitude of the intermediate arc, and the situation of the point where the observations are taken. $300 Reward. A BSCONDED from my Company on the night of the 11th Inst, a young man by the name of Charles Boyden, Aged about 22 years, of light complexion, blue eyes, front teeth some what defective, about five feet 8 or 9 inches high ; he was acting in character of groom, ostler, &c. — The only clothing taken with him recollected, is a yellow striped roundabout, a new bell or high-crowned hat—had no winter clothing with him. He opened my trunk on the same night he ran off, and purloined from it the following amount and description of money, viz : About $710 in U. S. Bank Notes; 5 or 600 dollars N. Carolina ; between 3 and $400 S. Carolina; and $500 Georgia. A particular description of the Notes is not recollected, except the U. S. which was in hundreds and fifties, with some few smaller notes. The above reward will be given for the recovery of the above stated sums of money or a proportionate reward for any part thereof. Capt. Blow of Florence, Mr. Rhea of Tuscumbia, and Mr. Washington at Athens, Ala. are requested to keep a look out for the above described runaway and forward im mediately any information they may get, to the Huntsville Inn. There were found in his possession sundry suspicious papers, such as Bills ot Sale for Negroes &te.—which in duce the belief that he has either escaped from the process of justice, or from an apprehension thereof. A Bill of sale for a negro named Daniel, and signed by Hillory Bostick, was found, among others, in his possession- said negro declares himself a Runaway, belonging to Abednego Turner Esq. of Bibb County. The said Vaughn, alias Allen had with him a horse, Saddle and Bridle about which there rests some suspicion. Any information or inquiry may be addressed to me at Goshen, Lincoln Coun- ty Ga. PONT the petition of Anthony Gilmore, praying a foreclosure of the equity of redemption, in and to Lot of land, No. one hundered and fifty seven, in the fourth District in the County of Monroe aforesaid, stating that McLamore Watkins, on the 13thday of April, in the year eighteen hundred and twenty-five, executed and delivered to him, a deed of Mortgage for the better securing the payment of one-hundred and seventy five dollars, for said Lot of land, and praying a Rule Ni Si, for a foreclosure of the equity of Redemption in and to said premises. On motion, it is ordered, that the said W lkins do, within twelve months from this date, pay into the Office of the Clerk of this Court, the principle and interest due on said Mortgage, together with the cost of this application, or that the equity of redemption in and to said mortgaed premises be thenceforth bared, and for- ver foreclosed: It is further ordered that this Rule be published in one of the public Gazetts of this State, once a month for twelve months, or that the same be served on the mortgager, his agent or attorney, at least six months previous to the term at which the money is directed to be paid, as aforesaid.
