Fire- Wood wanted
ON TIIE WESTERN WATERS.
THE steam-boat company are desirous of contracting
for a regular supply of M ODD, to be ordered for
the use of the steam-boats the ensuing season, at conve
nient landing places on the Oconee and Alatamalia rivers.
The Wood must be of pitch pine, cut from the bodies
of large trees, o.f high land growth, and w ell seasoned.
Light-wood w ould be preferred. Persons willing to
contract for the delivery, at one or more landings, w ill
send their proposals, specifying the rate per cord and
the name of the landing, its estimated distance from
Darien, Milledgeville, or some public place. The pro
posals to be addressed either to Josjsru Hutchnson,
treasurer, at Augusta, or Richard Waynk, Savannah.

On the first Tuesday in December next,

usual hours of 10 und 3 o'clock, the following property,

ONE Cow and Calf, as she runs on the commons of
Darien; one bay Horse and one old Sulky, returned
by James Hamilton in his schedule of insolvency, as his
property, and levied on to satisfy (so far as they will go)
sundry executions against said Hamilton.
Also, two Negro men, Paul and Boston, levied on as
the property of James Derenges, deceased, to satisfy
an execution obtained in favor of John Bolton, survivor
of John Jackson, vs. John W allace, administrator James
Derenges.
