Sands’ Sarsaparilla. —lt has ever been a prime article of our medicinal creed, to recommend no ad vertised medicines, for we are opposed to them con scientiously and professionally, but we feel bound to deviate from this rule, and recommend to the suffer ing the article at the head of this notice. The great medicinal virtues of Sarsaparilla, are well known and appreciated by physicians, but the uncertainly of the strength of the different preparations of the root, some being almost inert, has caused the medicine it self to fall into disrepute. The Messrs. Sands, it would seem, have succeeded in obtaining a powerful and uniform preparation of it. We have seen an abundance of testimonials to its efficacy from the high est authority, and we recommend it with pleasure. — Southern Whig.
