The American descriptions sold, consist of 9,307 Uplands at 7a6f ; 7,180 Mobiles at 7$ a 8$ ; 12 320 Orleans at 6$ a9s ; and 250 Sea Is!«nds at 13$ a 20d. per lb. LIVERPOOL, Oct 11. —We have bad a weak of great firmness in the Cotton market, days of com parative quiet, and others of greater demand, but 1 cannot quote any change in price of (he slightest mo ment. In Sea Islands there has been some demand, but at rates not remunerative to the importer, partic ularly in the finer sorts, and for very low qualities, not the least demand or inquiry. In Manchester there has been more doing, both in Yarns and Goods, ©wing to the late advance in Bom bay, and the expected riso in Calcutta, advices of which are hourly looked for.
