Ever since the settlement of America, Wild Cher ry has been known to possess very important medi cinal virtues. Every body knew this fact, but no body knew bow to extract its essential properties. Every mother gives Wild Cherry tea to er chil dren for worms, for Colds, and tor almost every dis ease ; and adults throughout our eountry are in the habit o' making a compound of syrup of Wild Cher ry bark and other ingredients, to be used in spring a* an antidote to complaints incident to that change ful season. It is found by expariment that the Wild Cherry possesses even far more important qualities than was ascribed to it. For the first stage ot Con sumption, Asthma, no matter how long standing, Coughs, Liver Complaints, etc., it is proved to be the best medicine known to man. Dr Wiatar’s BALSAM of WILD CHERRY is a chemical ex tract, combined with a simihr extract from Tar, which enhances its value. Its success in curing pulmonary diseeses, in almost every stage, after our best physicians could do no more, has astonished the faculty, and led them to confess that Wistar’s Bal sam of Wild Cherry possesses a principle heretofore unknown among medical men. Now these are high commendations, but our limited experience teaches us that they are not undeserved. Persons, therefore, who are suffering with Coughs, Colds,&c., should certainly give it a trial.
