In connection with thw report, we hive been requested to publish the (Utes of the arrival and departure of the Pampero, to show that bar sailing on this expedition was sodden, and that she departed in evasion of the law, which the Collector could not know. She arrived at thk port on the 39tb of July, entered at the eastern house on the 30tb, and ■at out again, without clearance, by night, on the 2d of August. Whan she entered at the custom bonse she reported to the Deputy Col lector “that her boilers wsre burned oat." There ware only three days between the tiase of her entry and departure, and she leA with out custom house papers. The brig Grazeba of Bath, Maine, bound from Navy Bay to Honduras, has been brought up to this city in distress. The eaptaio, mate, and two of the crew are dead, the others are all sick. There has, however, been an increeed demand for the article since the date of oar hit report, and the wants of buyers have in some instances compelled them to yield to the exigencies of the case, end a higher range es prices have been paid than were current daring the previous week, bat the want of stock, coupled with the coo tinned advancing tendency in pricea, have been great drawbacks to purchasers, and wa bars to report a comparatively quiet market, as tbs week’s business does not exceed 1200 bales. The transactions show every unsealed market aad there nra no fixed pricea for cotton at tho present time, and ws there fore have no quomkma to offer. Same sales of scant lair have been made as high as 10e. The receipts of new cotton thus for reach upwards of 180 lalaa. Corn.—The receipts since our last comprise 12 - 400 bushels, 5,000 Virginia, of a prime quality, biought 6ic. Bacon. —This srticle continues to attract some at tention, but the transactions have been limited in consequence of the high prices asked. About 100 bbdo. sides were sold in the (ore pert of the week st 111 HI. but at the close of business a decided improvement was established over those rates. Shoulders have been idling most generally at 9e. Lard, —About 100 kaga Baltimore changed at 12c. Bagging and Rope. —Transactions limited. Sail. —Demand limited. Groceries. —Ail articles classed under this head have been very much neglected since our last report. The trad, is well supplied with Sugar received coast wise, and there is consequently no demand from first ban <s. Prices are depressed, and have s deeded downward tendency. Some 107 hhds, received from the West Indies, remain unsold; there have also been received coastwise 217 hhds. The arriyals of Molasses comprise 134 hhds. and 2 tierces, which base been sold on terms not made public, t bout 350 bbls. have also been received yis. New Or leans, which bare not been sold. Upwards of 1000 bags of Coffee have come to hand. A few email lota ol Rio have been sold at prices ranging firm 9 to 91 eta. Domestic Lisuors. —There was a sale of 100 bbls. New Orleans Whiskey, from the wharf at 244 c. Freights, —There is very little freight offering to any quarter. We quote to Liverpool, Cotton in square bags, nominally at 5-l6ths. a |d.
