LIVERPOOL, Ang.|29.—Since our report of 22d inst. our Cotton Market has continued to msio'aie Itself ar.d derived additional strength from unfavora ble refertv, touching the growing crop, which, t bough received with more than usual diatrnat, do net fail to exercise a degree of influence, sea on tin uanee thereof might increase 'h» ditfc itioo to specu late and the trade have thus an additional motive to hold some amount of stock. Their purchases this week h.*ve again been extensive, the total sales reaching 57,270 bales, of whieh 22,470 Export and Speculation against an import 0f23,696 bales. Up on the current qua'ities for home uae an advance t f *d. baa been eatablisued and we close firmly thereat; though with lets doing in the last lwo 4 days. Coa tjdericg that we have now bed aa uninterrupted large demand during five weeks, which baa taken off over 30,000 bales, we must not be surprised at on ear'y relaxation, wh’ch will te?t the firmness cf holdc.j end probably exerciae a salutary influence on ihe opening prices ot the other side. “ Our Cora market cannot be considered worse this week, the weather bavin j been let? fatisfactory, but a good pro; onion of our crops ia already boused, end the change ia tbua of leas consequence then if it hod occurred earlier; there ia however more Uripc- Biiioo to purchase Wheal, and a fair buainer* hae been done at former prices. For Flour ws are op preiscd with heavy arrivals, in which inferior qual ifies predominate an J these are much neglected, bat for really gerd quality there is rather more demand. Os Indian Corn there is little of good quality offer ing, and more unfavorable reports in regard to Pota to crops have provoked an advance of Is. par 480 lbs. 4 “ LIVERPOOL, August 29. —Onr Cotton Mar ket baa again been active during the present week, the sr-roe steady demand and large contin uing that ha* been going on for some weak* post, co"tutrt rs. eif >Hera and *feetdatot* looking at the anicle with increased confidence, and the trad* continue* ro good that it will require the combina tion of the men favorable accounts from the United S i er, with regard to the growing crop, to prevent prices advancing still higher, and with a consump tion much greater than at any former peiioJ, e sad den and rapid advance would cei.’ainly fo’low the ac counts of any serious disaster to it. LIVERPOOL, Aug. 29.—Tb«re has been upon the whole a gcoti demand for Cotton this week, end the businrr- he* ranged abont 8 a 10,000 bales per day. The trade hawever have not been extensive puaebr j. , owing an doubt to their previ ous large o; rratioas, and have done little more than keep up their seek; whilst for Exrx. there is no .-ibatement of demand, and the buyiag for re-rhip meat ccatiaucs upon an extensive scale.
