I) E.\l», READ, READ. MARK THIS FACT: k SILVER’S PLASTIC MINERAL PAINT, will stand any rlimr.te without cracking or blistering!!! Ms, J. S. Sit.vß*.—Dear Sir;—From long and well-tried experience in the use of your Mineral Paints, wo are well convinced that they are far superior to any other article of the same kind now in use. We have arrived at this con clusion from a well-settled conviction, that in point of body, durability, and capability, of effectually resisting the influ ence of heat and cold, and ev u the dangers of conflagra tion, there is no other coating material that can approach a comparison with it. Our reasons for arriving at this con clusion are indisputable, viz; actual experience in the use of your Composition, and the real benefit we have thereby derived. We find them to be cheaper in cost, to go further in use, and to give better satisfaction to property owners and lenen’s in general, than any other. For these reason* wo have determined that at all limes, and under all circura- j stances, we will recommend your material; and, if possible, j are determined to use no other. YVe remain yours, with respect, TRTOL k HAND, House Painters and Glaziers, 215 Ridge Road. | The above is but one of the many certificates we have re- j ceived from the Painters of cur city, who iiave used Silver’s ' Mineral Paints. Colors.—We have seven different colors, viz: three i brow ns, two chocolates, black and yellow, and by combine tion, make every variety and shade of c jlor. Iron. —To iron, they furnish a perfect protection agaiust 1 rust, for they contain no metal, which, like white lead, acts 1 destructively or. the iron. In fact, this paiat makes iron ‘ doubly valuable for building purposes. Brick Work.—They give to house walls a much heavier * coating than any other paints, and if sanding is required, j nothing holds so firmly or finishes so weil with it. Old Poors.—Gives us a roof never so old and leaky, Si!- j ver’s Mineral Paints will make it cheaply new, and more enduring that it ever was. Ships using this extraordinary mineral as we prepare it for them, will be proof against the action of hot" suns, worm-*, nnd salt water. Dibkctioss. —Use Linseed Oil, mix as thick as you can, and u.-=e as other paints. These paints need hut little dryer, and for priming and second-coating in all household work, they will be found far cheaper and more durable than lead. Dealers and consumers can procure this Paint of FRENCH k RICHARDS, Wholesale Agents, Northwest corner Tenth and Market-sts. Philad.
