THIS justly celebrated Horse, imported into Virginia about three years ago, i wiii stand the coining season at my Planta -1 tion, near Edgefield ccurt-houfe, South- Carolina, and be let to Mares at Fortt Dollars the fcafon ; —but as much trouble, an<l many inconveniences arise, in the col lection of these kinds of debts, and as the owner of Dragon is desirous of bringing business of this nature to a speedy close, the season may he discharged by the pundlual payment of Thirty Dollars in every case, at any time before the firtl of January next. The fubferiber holds Limfelf at liberty to demand security in fnch cases as he may deem expedient, in order to infurc punftual payment. He won and received forfeit two and twenty times before he en ded his fifth 5 ear, and in mod cases for the highest prizes in England ; —among this I number was the Whip, (which is known to be the highest objedl of competition ever eftablilhcd by the Jockey Club) of 200 Guineas each fubferiber, against two others, giving them both a year’s weight in riding, four miles; and the famous match against four miles, carrying ifftone {225 lbs.) upon each, in which he-was rode by the Duke of Bedford , and Clifdcn by Sir John Lade. DRAGON is a fare foal getter, and all accounts concur in proving his colts to he more promulng than any in America. In point of figure, bone, size and power, he is acknowledged to be superior to any horse, by almost every man who has seen him. His pedigree, at length, together with the ex traurdinary performances of his colts as fubftantiaicd by the racing calander of Erg. land, may be seen at his Hand.
