Buckley’s Opera Troupe
Notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather
on Monday night, there was a fair attendance
upon the performance of this celebrated corps of
performers; and from the applause with which
nearly every song and witticism was received
they must have been well pleased.
The brothers Buckley are all line musicians and
acquitted themselves with much credit. The vio
lin solo of one of them was certainly a most ad
mirable production and elicited the most enthusi
astic applause.
The company rendered the burlesque on “Lt _
crezxa Borgia” in the most ludicrous manner.
To night the main feature is a burlesque upon
the fairy Opera of Cinderella.”

Antony, and Cleopatra.
This unique and mttmmoth establishment com
bines a greater number of attractions than were
ever before offered to the public. The Perform
ing Elephants, Antony and Cleopatra, are the
same which for months, created the greatest fu
ror in London and Paris, while more recently
their performances were the theme of universal
admiration for months, at the Broadway Theatre
New York. Their wonderful docility, and the
perfection of their training, make them the most
interesting specimens of the animal creation that
the world has ever seen. All their faculties have
been developed to the greatest extent, and they
stand forth as vui gcuerin. the most remarkable of
their kiad. They stand upon their heads, play
upon musical instruments, ascend inclined planes
and go through all the operations of the most ac
complished acrobats.
In addition, Bailey fc Co’s Circus and Menage
rie comprises a.splendid'eollectioii of wild animals.
The Troupe of Riders, Van Iters, Lady Eques
trienne Ac, is the largest and most thoroughly ar
tistic now traveling, and comprises the following
distinguished names:
Mr. E. Perry, J. W. Ward,
Mrs. Perry, S. Hurt,
Miss Perry, G. Sloraan,
Master Perry, If. Bedaw,
R. White, Site Weede,
Donalson, 11. Nell Banks,

A fine Brass Band will precede the-Grand Cav
alcade on its entrance to town, drawn by Elephants

with due regard to the comfort and convenience of
the visitors. The proprietors flatter themselves
that nothing shall be found wanting to make this
the most elegant, beautiful and satisfactory exhi

Such as Indigestion, Acidity of the Stomach, Colicky

Rheumatic and Neuralgic Affections, it has in numer

fected a decided cure.
This is a purely vegetable compound, prepared on
strictly scientific principles, after the manner of the
celebrated Holland Professor, 80-rhave. Because of
ils great success in most of the European Stales, its in
troduction into tlie United States was intended more
especially for those of our fatherland scattered here
and there over the face of this mighty country. Meet
ing with great success among them, I now offer it to
the American public, knowing tliat its truly wonderful
medicinal powers must he acknowledged.
it is particularly recommended to those persons
whose constitutions may have been impaired by the
continuous use of ardent spirits, orolher forms of dis
sipation. Generally instantaneous in effect, it finds its
way directly to the seat of fife, thrilling and quickening
every nerve, raising up the drooping spirit, and in fact
infusing new health and vigor in the system.
NOTICE.- Whoever expects to find Ibis a beverage
will Be disappointed; but to the sick, weak, and low
spirited, it will prove a grateful aromatic cordial, pos
sessed of singular remedial properties.
CAVT I O N !
The great popularity of this delightful aroma has in
duced many imitations, which the public should guard
against purchasing. Be not persuaded to buy anything
else until you have given 80-rbave’s Holland Bitters a
fair trial. One bottle will convince you bow infinitely
superior it is to all these imitations.
