ble, an<l very commodious building, (formerly
the Theatre) went into operation the last sea
son, with a class of 104 Students, from vanolts
parts of the Soy them Country. Os this num
ber, there were 39 Graduates, and the Degree
ad eufdem, was conferred upon three G?ad
uates of other Schools.
Under these encouraging circumstances, the
F acuity feel themselves called upon to redouble
their exertions, and are convinced that ample
opportunities are afforded foi the acquirement es
a Medical Education, in all its details. The
Anatomical and Surgical Museum which
quite ample the lasi year, will be enriched by
rare and useful specimens from France and
Italy ; an order to the amount of 1,000 dollars
haying been loiwarded early jn the Spring, .-mj
that they may be expected hi October. The
nucleus of a Cabinet of Compa 1 alive Anatomy,
and of Natural History has been laid, and-it is
expected, from the talents which areengagfd.
that it will ere long Im* filled with the objeefs of
these most important and interesting subjects
of human intpiiry ami research.
An Infirmary has been established, whrh
has amply realized the expectations of the Fae
itlty. Here the students nave had an opportu
nity of seeing a practical illustration of the piin
ciples and doctrines which are theorem.ally
taught in the Leet tire Rooms, and of being pic
sent at such surgical operations as they will in
all probability, be called trpcai soon after Grad

An excellent opportunity is also afforded the
Student ot becoming acquinted with practical
Anatomy, by the number of subjects furnished
from the city. The healthiness of Chat fesi.rn
during the winter season, with its moderate Mi
mate may be an inducement with many M re
sort to this Institution for health, and an ac
quaintance with this most important branch of
stady.-
The requisititmsfor a Degree, are similai so
those of other Colleges:
Good Boarding can be obtained ifi thrf City
