RECOMMENDED and approved bv the faculty, prepared only by E. A. Ward, J M. D., 241 Spring street, New York, Among the many and great variety of Oils, Cerates, Balms, &c. to promote the growth of the Hair, < nothing has yet been discovered to answer the s object intended so effectually as Ward’s Oil. It 1 has established a reputation never beio.e ac quired by any other preparation. It has restor- 1 ed hair on heads that have been bald for many years, and in all cases where the hair is dead i or beginning to grow dry and falling off, it ex erts a most salutary influence, imparting life 1 and lustre. When the hair is turning grey, the oil will co invigorate it as to cause it to resume 1 its original color and beauty, hence it is of great < utility to persons in whom there is a contitu- i tional predisposition to grayncss. Ladies will find it a great acquisition to the toilet, and after becoming acquainted with its i intrinsic merit will consider it indispensable. < Caution— The great celebrity of this Oil, i and the extensive demand for the articie, has l induced many base and unprincipled men to select it for imitation; then resorting to every i kind of deception and fraud to palm the Coun- 1 terfeit Upon the public. i Be very particular to observe that round ] each genuine bottle is a treatise on the human hair about 30 pages, treating on the following interesting and important subjects, viz: History of some of the fashions of wearing the hair; the national differences of the hair; structure of the hair; grey hair; baldness; cause of baldness; baldness of young men; tike decline of hair amohg females; treatment of the hair; howto manage the hair in sickness; the influ ence of warm climates upon the hair; how to manage children’s hair; sensitive hair, &c.
