laits of Land, situate, lying, and being in the city

distinguished in the plan of the slid city, by the
number twenty nine (291 and thirty, 30, Brown
ward, bounded east Ivy MMntosh street, west by
Chip iccj square, norih hy Hull street, and south

which said two lots, with the building and other
appurtenances, w. fe mortgaged by the Trustees
of the Savannah Theatre to the said William .lay,
by <1( erl, braving date tbo twenty third dav of
February, in the year one thousand eight hundred
and nineteen, to secure the payment of the sum
of fourtcenkhiiusaml nine hundred and sixty dol
lars. with lawful interest oft eleven thousand dol
lars, from the first of October, one thousand eight

due and unpaid on the said debt and mortgage,

snd eight cents of principal, with the interest

eighteen hundred and nineteen.
On motion of Richard W, Habersham, attorney
for the said Richard Richardson. It is ordered, that
tho principal, interest, anti costs, due upon the
said mortgage, be paid into court within twelve
months from this date, or that otherwise, the equi
ty of redemption in the said mortgaged premises
be foreclosed from thenceforth, and that such fur
ther and other pmee dings take place, as are
pursuant to the ac.t of the legislature of tbe state
of Georgia, in such ease made ami provide al.
And it is further ordered, that this rule bn pub
lished in one or move of the Gazettes of the city
of Savannah, at least once a month for twelve
months, or served on the mortgagee , at least six
