that another Instalment of the Stock of the Bank of the
State of Georgia should be called in, and that the Stock
holders should be required to pay a proportion thereof
in specie.
Notice is hereby given, that, agreeably ta a resolution
of the Director* ofthis date, twenty-three per centum
on each share, of the Stock of the Bauk, is required to
be paid by the Stockholders, oh or before the second
Monday in December next; that five dollars, in specie,
be paid on each share, as part of the said twenty-three
per cent, and the balance in .bill* of either of the Banks
of Georgia.
The Stockholders are further notified, that Cashier S
Certificates of Stock will be issued in lieu of the Com
missioners’ Certificates, held by the Stockholders, upon
the delivery of the Commissioners’ Certificates, at the
lime of paying the Instalment, as above required.
Western Stockholders are informed, that they may pay
said Instalment, and receive their Stock Certificates, on
delivering the Commissioners’ Certificates, at either of

The PLANTATION called Verxezobiie, settled by
colonel Daniel Heyward, dec. situate on the east side of
the Savannah back-river, twelve miles from the city, and
contiguous to tiie lands of Thomas Gibbons, esq.' The
tract consists of a total of 2126 acres, being divided in
to pretty equal proportions of tide-swamp, pine-barren
cotton mid provision lands. Of the former there are
about 30Q acres on the river, which, by clearing, would
be well calculated for a productive rice plantation; and
of the latter, with a larjfe body of cleared provision
land, there are about 100 acres of prime uncleared cot
ton land. On the phice there is an excellent dwelling-
house, with five rooms; a large substantially built barn,
with a number of negro-houses and other buildings.—
Possession of the place will be given at any time. For
terms, which will be made easy to an approved pur
chaser, apply to tiie owner, at Callawassie Island, St.
Luke’s Parish, South-Carolina, or to the undersigned

Twenty Dollars" reward.
Left my plantation, in Burke county, on tiie night of
the 5th inst. two negro fellows, Sam and Ckzah; they
took with them a small shot gun. Sam is a tall slim
fellow, about forty-five years of age. Cezar is v try stout
and has a very large foot, and his ancles are swelled very
much, about twenty years of age. 1 suppose they will
aim for Savannah, or to the southward*

ditto North-Caro'.ina, three fifty’s same bunk, the balance
in 20’s, 10’s and 5’s, all of the State Bank of Nortti-Ca-
rolina. Said Book was lost on the 1st inst. at or between
the bar-room, near Mr. Hotchkiss’ stables and the sub
scriber’s chair, which stood before the door, and drove
directly home, on the White-bluff road. In the Book,
was an old statement of money, deposited in the Planters’
Bank in the subscriber’s name. If any part is recovered,
a proportional reward; and requested to be stopped, if
ottered by a negro. Any information left with the edi
tor of this paper, or the subscriber, will be thankfully
