The members of the-corps of the ftnrannah Heavy Ar
tillery, that served during the late war, under the com
mand of captain William B. Bollock, are ^notified that,
in conformity with the appropriation thet .was made to
purchase SWOHDS with me funds arisiijBfcoin the pay
of the corps, they have b<-en accordinglpP&ocured and
are now ready For delivery, and that by calling on Wil
liam Gaston, late lieutenant of-the company, each mem
ber will he furnished with his sword. Those members
that have removed into the country will be furnished by
sending their written order; and the friends or repre
sentatives of such members as may have deceased since
toe war, are also'-.nthled to receive in their stead,

Bank of Georgia
It being deemed expedient by the Board of Directors,
that another Instalment of the Stock of the Bank of the
State of Georgia should be. called in, and that the Stock
holders should be required to pay a proportion thereof
in specie.
Notice is hereby given, that, agreeably to a resolution
of the Directors of this date, twenty-three per centum
on each share, of the Stock of the Bank, is required to
be paid by the Stockholders, on or before it secontj,
Monday in December next; that five dollars, in specie,;
be paid" on each share, as part of the said twenty-three
pur cent, and the balance in bills of either of toe Banks
of Georgia.
The Stockholders are further notified, that. Cashier’s
Certificates of Stock will be issued ih lieu of the Com
missioners’ Certificates, held tty the Stockholders, upon
the delivery of toe Commissioners’ Certificates, at the
time of paying the Instalment, as above required.
Western Stockholders are informed, that they may pa)
said Instalment, and receive their Stock Certificates, on
delivering the Commissioners’ Certificates, at either of
tiie Offices established at Augusta and MiUcdgeville, so
soon as they shall be in operation, which willl be in

toe Savannah Back River, situated about ten miles above
lie city, well adapted to the culture of rice or the sugar
