Bank of Georgia
lb feeing deemed expedient by rile Board of Directors;
(!)at another Instalment of the Stock of the Bank of the
State of Georgia should be called in, and that the Stock
holder* should be required to pay a proportion thereof
tespecie.
Notice is hereby given, that, agreeably to a resolution
of the Directors of this date, twenty-three per centum
on each share, of the Stock of the Bank, is required to
be paid by the Stockholders, on or before the second
Monday in December next; that five dollars, in specie,
be paid on each share, as part of the said twenty-three
per cent, and the balance in bills of either of the Banks
pf Georgia.
The Stockholders are further notified, that Cashier a
Certificates of Stock will be issued in lieu of the Com
missioners’ Certificates, held by .the Stockholders, upon
the delivery of the Commissioners’ Certificates, at the
time of paying the Instalment, as above required.
Western Stockholders are informed, that they may pay
Said Instalment, and receive their Stock Certificates, on
delivering the Commissioners’ Certificates, at either of
the Offices established at Augusta and Milledgeville, so
soon as they shall he in operation, which wiill be in a

- Notice is hereby given to ail persons interested in the
trust funds of the late Bank of the United States, as the
proprietors of bank-notes, or of dividends upon stock,
either of capital or interest, and in general to all the
creditors of the said bank or trust of whatsoever des
cription, that unless their claims are presented for set
tlement before the 4th day of ■ March, 1817, when the
term of six years from the creation of the said trust will
tove expired, the trustees will not feel themselves ob-
fcg*d to make opposition to any decree or order of
qourt, -tthich may be obtained for the distribution among

In the'matter of-John Millen, Charles Patterson, and
Michael Bloomstocks, petitioners lor relief under the
insolvent acts of, this state.
It appearing, that orders in these. cases have been
granted returnable in J«iy and August last, and that the
notice required by law has been given to the creditors of
each of the petitioners by personal service, but that in
consequence of-the. absence from the-county, pf the Jus
tifies of. the Court; a hearing, cpuld not be had,.

Valuable Lands for sale.
Four hundred and fifty acres, prime tide swamp, on
the Savannah Back River, Situated about ten milesabove
the city, \v '1 adapted to the culture of rice or the sugar
cane; upw. ; of one hundred acres no w under dam, and
cultivated by James Ancram, esq.
Also, a tract, containing upwards of three hundred
acres, adjacent to the above tract—this tract will be
worthy the attention of the owner of the river swamp,
having some convenient buildings on it; it also contains
a-good proportion of high pine iand, and tiie balance is
well adapted to the culture of cotton and provisions—
also, a swamp, abounding with cypress and other valua
ble timber.
Also, a tract, containing five hundred acres, situated
on Savannah River, a few miles above Purysburgh,-known
by the name of Bear Bluff-—this tract is very valuable; as
it abounds with white oak and other timber, suitabretor
the Savannah market.
Also, two tracts of pine Land, in the vicinity of Purys-
burgh, well timbered.
The whole of the property will he sold on easy and

Cotton Lands, oil St. Simons.
To be rented, for one or two years, a tract of Land,
about the middle of said Island, containing 719 acres,
wheoeof between 2 and 300 are cleared and under fence;
ISO acres have rested for several years and are in prime
order for planting.
Also, the tract adjoining, called the Village, on which
there are a dwelling house, containing six rooms, with
fire places, and two garret rooms; a barn of three stories
in height, cotton house, &c. a good garden, orchard anil
extensive pasture. As there are no buildings on the first
mentioned tract, it having been always held as an appen- -
dage to the other, they must both be occupied K one
person, and as the lands of the Village-still only be rent
ed as a pasture, the rent required for them and the build
ings will be small.
Immediate .possession will be given of the first tract,
and on the 1st of January- of the other.
Apply in Charleston, to Mr. Speahs; in Savannah, to
Colonel Johnstox; or near Darien, to Georuk Baillik.
Those lands would suit any person intending to make
a settlement on the Alatamaliatide lands.
