Ranaway,.from the subscriber, on the night of the 25th
October, 1816, two Negro men: Jons, a country born fel
low, about twenty-nine or thirty years of'hge, slim made,
about five feet eight or nine inches high; took with him
his last year’s round jacket, greyish colored, lined with
blue, and blue pantaloons, also a blue and white mixed
coatee of' homespun; and homespun pantaloons and
waistcoat; and had on a felt hat, John was formerly the
property of colonel. Ferdinand Oneal, ofMTntosh coun
ty, and purchased from him by the subscriber in the
-year of 1811. Bmrrus, a likely country born fellow,
jabout twenty three years of age, about five feet six or
. seven inches high, has a large scar on his left elbow
occasioned by a burn; took with him no cloths except
What he had on, which are a greyish colored round
. jacket, lined with blew, checked homespun pantaloons,
and Osnaburgh siiirt, an old. twilled waistcoat and felt

During the lute War.
The members of the corps of the Savannah Heavy Ar
tillery, that served during the late war, under the com
mand of captami William B. Bulloch, are notified that,
in conformity with the appropriation that was made to
purchase SWORDS with the fundsarising from the pay
of the corps, they have been accordingly procured and
are now ready for delivery, and that "by catting on Wil
liam Gaston, late lieutenant of the company; each mem
ber will be furnished with his sword. Those members
that have removed into the country will be furnished by
sending their written order; and the friends oc. repre
sentatives of such members as may have deceased since
the war, are also entitled to receive in their stead.
