Bank of the United States.
Notice is hereby given to the subscribers, to the capital
of the Bank of the United States, at Augusta, that t ie
"Commissioners appointed by the President of the United
States to receive the said subscriptions, are duly author
ised by the President and Directors of the Bank of the
United States, to receive the second instalment of the
saief subscriptions, to wit; on each share of the said capital,
ten dollars m gold or silver coin and twenty-five dollars in
coin as aforesaid, or in funded debt, at the rates prescrib
ed by the act of incorporation, with a power of attorney
annexed to the certificates of the said funded debt pro
portion, authorising the Ijoan Officer for the time being,
at whose office the said funded debt shall stand recorded,
(or the register of the treasury of the United States, if
the stock shall stand on the books of the treasury) to
transfer the same in due form of law, to the President, I)i
rdetors and Company of the Bank of the United States;
that the s.ud commissioners, as agents of the Bank, will at
tend at the Bank of Augusta, between the hours of nine
o’clock in the forenoon, and two o’clock in the afternoon,
daily, and every day, (Sundays excepted) from the 1st
of January next ensuing, to the 23d of same month, both
days inclusive, for the purpose of receiving the payments
as aforesaid; and that the subscribers at their option, may
either pay the said second instalment at the original froee
of subscription, within the time herein limited; or at
the Bank of the United States at Philadelphia. "

Bank ot‘ Georgia.
It being deemed expedient by the Board of Directors,
that another Instalment of the Stock of the Bank of the
ftate of Georgia should be called in, and that the Stock
holders should be required to pay a proportion thereof
in specie.
Notice is hereby given, that, agreeably to a resolution
of the Directors of this date, twenty-thret per centum
on each share, ot the Stock of the Bank, is required to
be paid by the Stockholders, on or before the second
Monday in December next; that five dollars, in specie,
be paid on each share, as part of the said twenty-three
per cent, and tile balance in bills of either of the Banks
of Georgia. , ,, , . ,
The Stockholders are further notified, that Cashier s
Certificates of Stock will be issued in lieu of the Com
missioners’ Ceitificates, held by the Stockholders, upon
the delivery of the Commissioners’ Certificates, at the
time of pa\ ing the Instalment, as above required.
Western Stockholders are informed, that they may pay
said Instalment, and receive their Stock Certificates, on
delivering the Commissioners’ Certificates, at either ot
the Offices established at Augusta and Milledgeviile, so
soon as they shall be ill operation, which wiili be in a

Additional Notice.
BANK OF GEORGIA.
Whereas, it is represented, that it will be more con
venient to many of the Stockholders, that the time pre
scribed for the pal ment of the Instalment of twenty-
three per cent, which includes the five per cent of specie,
directed by the board, on the 20th September, 181o,
should bt extended. .... ,..
Resolved unanimously, Tiiat the time he, and the same is
hereby extended to the second Monday in January next,
and tiiat the Cashier give notice, that the said Instalment
is required to be paid on or before the said second Mon
day in January next.

trust funds of the'late Bank of ihe United States, as the
proprietors of bank-notes, or of dividends upon stock,
either of capital or interest, and in general to all the
creditors of die said bank or trust of whatsoever des
cription, that unless their claims are presented for set
tlement before the 4th duv of March, 1817, when the
term of six years from the creation of die said trust will
have expired, the trustees will not feel themselves ob
liged to make opposition to any decree or order of
court, which-may be obtained for the distribution among
the stockholders of the amount hitherto reserved to sa
