The first Satkrduy in January next is the day appointed
by Law, for the election of two Justices of tlie. Peace,
fur each captain’s district, in the several counties in "this
state. For ti e term of four years; which'elections shall be
superintended^)' three free-holders of the district, who
are to be sworn by the commanding officer of the said
district. * iiatiiam cdunty contains eight districts, to wit,
four in Sava, hall and Cherokee Hill, Little Ogechee,
White Bluff and the Islands.

be held at the Court-house, in Savannah, for Receiver of
Returns of taxable property, and Tax Collector for dje:

St Co. the said boy has been raised in anti about Savannah,
he had on when he went off a blue round jacket of negro
cloth. Ail captains of vessels are forwamed from ear
ning the said fellow away—the above reward will be
paid to ahy person that will deliver the said fellow ,to'
