persons shall be qualified to vote at elections for Mayor and
Aldermen of the city of Savannah and the hamlets there
of who are cltlsens of the United States have resided In
tho State of Georgia for one year Immediately preoedlng
tho election and within tho corporate limits or Savannah
for one month Immediately preceding their registration
and continue so to do up to tho Ume or election, who
have attainod the age or twonty-one years, have paid all
city taxes or havo In tholr own right sufficient real estate
to satisfy any tax executions which may bo against them,
who havo mttdo all returns required by tho ordinances of
the city, and havo been registered according to the pro
