“ It Is seldom wo permit ourselves to oocnpy naru*

newspapor published in tho United States. Tho editor give a simple statement of facts, that others inayin
like manner, be bcuefitted. Tho case which has ’in
duced us to pon this articlo was that of a young lad* of
■ acquaintance, who by frequent exposure to ths
ht air, contracted a Cold which settled on the Lumi
ore ita ravages could bo stayed. (This ooourred two

with very littlo effect or benefit. Tbo Cough grow
worso, wilii copious expectoration, and the sunken era
and pale, liollow check, told plainly that pulmonary
disease was dcing its worst on her delicate frame. The
family physician was consulted, and although he wonH
not admit to the young lady that she really had the
Consumption, yet he would give no encouragement as
to a cure. At this crisis her mother was persuaded to
mako use of a bottle of Dr.|Itogers's Conjpouudisyrup of
Liverwort and Tar, and we aro bappy to state she was
perfectly cured in less than three months by this medi
cine alone, after even hope was destroyed. It is uu-
