Selection of Certificate*.
New Yobk Aiuenal, 3d Oot., 1851.
Being advised by one cf the firet painters in the city
of New York to use the Bridgewater Paint, in prefer
ence to any other, upon tho Ordnance buildinge in my
charge, on Governor's Island, I did so, and found it
all that It was root mmeudod to be. Tha buildings,
which are of briok, upeak for themselves, and 1 cheer
fully give my testimony in behalf t»f the virtues of the
Paint, deeming it superior to any now in use, as far as
1 can judge front two months' observation.
O. U.TALCOTT. Br. Lt. Col.
U. 8. Miutabt Academy, January SOtb, 1862.
I have used the Bridgewater Paint upon some of tbs
buildings under my supervision, at West Point, and I
ahuerfully add my testimony to its durability aud
oheapness.
In future I shall recommend it to my friends and oi
it myself. 8. ALEXANDER.

PLANTER S CERTIFICATE.
New IBEUIA, Atla. .use. La , March 16th, 1852.
In July last I was iuduoea to apply tho Bridgewater
Mineral l’alnt to my sugar-house, and in every respect
it has exceeded my expectations, and the representations
mads by the agenfa, Messrs, G. C. Bogert k Co. I
cheerfully add my testimony to the namorous ones em
braced in tbe Agents' circular, aud rooommend the
Same to planters and others, as the best >Ere and ueatker
protector I have ever kuown.
Where I have applied it, it has been espotod to tho
sun since last July, aud has neither blistered nor truck
ed, and has formed a solid metulic tur/ace, whioh has
proved entirely imporvious. JOHN. F. MILLER.
The uadoraigned having used the Bridguwater Paiut,
a sufficient length of time to tests its virtues, wit'
hesitation pronouno* it tbe best artiolo as yet ks.
for ooverlng trick j, wood, tin, iron, Ae. It is remarka

and as long as it gives us the same satisfaction as here
tofore, we will continue to use itand recommend it as a
most superior paint.
