BRIDGEWATER PAINT.
T UMT UKf'KIVED BY the Hubncribcra
tf a large invoice of this valuable paint In packages

White Lead, while for outside work it is far preferable.
Selection of Certificates.
Nnw Yobk Arsbmxl, 3d Oot., 1851.
Doing advised by one of Uie first paiuters in the city
of New York to use the Bridgewater Paint, in prefer
ence to any other, upon the Ordnance buildings in my
oharge, on Governor's Island, I did so, nnd found ft
all that it was rooommended to be. The buildings,
whioh are of brick, apeak for themselves, and I cheer
fully give my testimony in behalf of the virtues of ths
Paint, deeming U superior to auy now iu use, as far as
I can judge from tweimonthe' obsorvatlon.
G. H.TALCOTT. Br. Lt. Col.
. U. 8. Mu.iTA.nr Academy, January 26tb, 1852.
I have used the Bridgewater Paint upon some of the
buildings unitor my supervision, nt Wost Point, and I
cheerfully add my testimony to its durability and
cheapness.
In future I shall recommend it to my friends and aae
it myself. 8. ALEXANDER.

PLANTER'8 CERTIFICATE.
Nkw Inxitii, Attakspas, La , March 16th, 1852.
In July last I was induced to apply the Bridgewater
Mineral P*int to ray sugar-houso, and in every respect
lt has sxoeedsd my expectations, and the representations
made by the agent*, Messrs, U. C. Bogert A Co. I
cheerfolly add- my testimony to the numerous ones em
braced in the Agent*' circular, and rooommend the
8uJ others, as the best jire and tceather
sun since last Jaly, and has neither blistered nor crack-
erf, and has formod a solid vutulir surface, which has
proved entiroly Impervious. JOHN. F. MILLER.
The undersigned having usod the Uridgowator Paint,
a sufficient length of time to testa its virtues, without
hesitation pronounce it the best artiole as yet known
for covering brioks, wood, tin, iron, Ao. It is remarka
ble for it* great body, dnrabilit/, adhesiveness, elasti
city, and also for Its spark and etnder proof qualities,
and as loug as it gives us tho same satisraetion a* here
tofore, wo will continue to use it and rooommend it a* a

rPHE astonishing success which has attended this
1 medicine in tho treatmont of Rheumatlo Com
plaints, either inflammatory (aouto) or chronic, of no
matter what complicated form, or of long or short du
ration, renders it the most valuable preparation ever
discovered, as tho sole tollable remedy for this diro
complaint; and so radical is it in its workings, that it
has seoursd the sanction or many of the first physi
cians, w ho have used it as a dvmierressort, without faith
in its merits, only to be co&vinoed of its mlracnloas
powers.
Mobtimobe’s Compound ia a vegetable extract,
internal remedy, pleaalng to ths taste, harmless in its
effects, and can bo administered to all age* and condi
tions without fear, prepared solely for the treatment
whilst lt soothes the nervos, and imparts a healthy
tlon to the digestive organs, and purifies the blood.—
Thousands have alruaay found reliof and permanent
cure : and in each and oveor case where it has been
tested, it has invariably answered the purpose, never
having been known to fail.
The proprietors feel justified in thus assuring ths pub
lic of its virtues, as they baso its merits entirely upon
its performances, and allow thelatter only to be men
tioned in its behalf. Testimonial* or the highest ohar
acter are dally received from various seutfons of ths
Union, corroborating these facts, and giving additional
and undoubted evidence of the virtues of this truly
great aud reliable remedy.
