[From tho Boston Bee. j The editor said, Dec. 22d— Dr. Uuojiand's celebrated German Utters, tor the oure of Liver Complaint, Jaundice, Dyspepsia, Chronic < Nervous Debility, is deservedly one of tho most populi medicines of the day. These Bitters have boen used by thousands, and a friend at our elbow says he has him self received an effectual and permanent onto of Liver Complaint from the use of this remedy. Wo are vinced that, in the use of those Bittors, the patiout stantly gains strength and vigor—a fact worthy ol great cousiuoration. They arc pleasaut in tasto aud smell* and can ho used by persons with the most deliouto st< achs with safety, under any circumstances. We speaking from experience, and to the afilictod wo advise their use. Scott's Woekly, one of tho bost literary papers pub lished, said, August 26— 44 Dr. lloojiand's German Bitters, manufactured by Dr, Jackson, are now recommended by sumo of the most promiueut members of tho faculty as an artiolo of much efficacy iu cases of female woaknesa. The Philadelphia Saturday Gazetto, tho best family newspaper published iu tho United States. Thoi *' says of DR. IIOOFLAND’8 GERMAN BITTERS. "It is seldom that wo recommend whataroterraedPa- tent Medicines, to the confidence and patronage of our readers; and, therefore, when we recommend Dr. Hoof- land's German Bitters, wo wish it to be distinctly under stood that we are not speaking of the nostrums of the day, that are noised about for a brief period aud then forgotten, after they havo done their guilty race of mis chief, hut ofameuioine long established, universally prized, and which has met the hearty approval of the faoulty itself." Evidence upon evidence has been received (like the foregoing) from all sootions of tho Union, the lust three years, aud the strongest testimony in its favor is that there is more of it used in tho practice of the regular physicians of Philadelphia than all othor uostrums com biued, a fact that cuu easily he established, and full' proving that a scientific preparation will mootwitl their quiet approval when presented evon in this form. That this modicine will cure Liver Complaint and Dyspepsia no ono oan doubt, after using it as directed. It acts specifically upon the stomach uudliver; it is pre ferable to calomel in all bilious diseases—tho effect is immediate.
