July, a Dispomary Physician, for each of said dis
tricts, whose duty it shall be toltarnlsh the destitute elck
within the limits ef his district with naeessnry medi
cines, to give them meJical an«. surgical advice and at
tention, to visit them at their places of abode w hen ne
cessary to attend In pervon.or l y competent substitute
at their ofliceaon every Monday and Thursday, between
the hours of 10 o'eloek, A. M. and 1 o'clock P. M.. tor
consultation with out-door patients, to keep always a
corn; stunt supply of vaccine matter fur vaoinating the
poor and to furnish physicians, the latter to pay a rea
sonable and propor price therefor.
Bee. 3. He It further ordained hy the authority afore-
■nld. That the said Dispensary Physicians shall be con
sidered, hold and taken a* officers or the city, and shall
be iiablotothe same penalties for non-performaneo or
neglect of any of their official duties as are now pre
scribed in ease of other eity officers.
Bee. 4. Bo it further ordained by the authority afore
said, That such Dlspenvary Physician before entering
on the dntiee of hie office ehaU take the oath prescribed
for city officers, and execute a bond with two securities
in the penal sum of one thousand dollars, conditional
for the faithful performance of the duties of his office.—
Each Dispensary Physician shall receive in full com
pensation for medicines ami sorvices, a salary of 000
dollars pir annum, payable monthly.
