Tha moat universal of theaa are general debility, and ita rare attendant, lowness of spirits. For these we can mend a speedy and unfailing curs, in the shape Iloofland's German Bitters, prepared by Dr. C. ] jackion, Philadelphia. It is, to our opinion, a medioine tui generis—alone—unapproaohable. It seems to reach the fountain head of tho difficulty in the digestive or ganisation, and thus to roliove the eeeretiona and the blood of the maerries morbi, or the oaueo of disease. Its tonic properties give vigor to the mombranea of the itomacb, and promote the secretion of the gastrie juice, which dissolves the food, while Us oordial, soothing, and alternative influence Imparts general regularity and itrengtb to the action of the seoretive organs, and teems to fortify tho constitution. 8uoh is our own < perience of ita effeots, and we believo it is confirmed the evidenoo of all who have tried it, or had an oppor tunity of witnessing its operation. For salo by Dr. Jackson, 120 Arch-street, and by Druggists generally, oct 27 1“ Dooly County, Ga., cured a girl, who had been for a number of years afflioted with Scrofula. Bhe was covered from head to foot with sores; there was not sound flosb enough on her whole body, to lay a 25 cant plena on. SHE FELT HER CONDITION IMPROVE ON TIIE SECOND DAY. The fourth day she was much better. On the 20th April, 1853, she oommenoed the Resolvent; on the 2Uth of May. twonty-one days after she commenced iU SHE WAS 80UND. Not a sore or blemish was upon her skin—nor was there any disease lingering in her system. Mr. Oliver has cured many people in Drayton, Rheumatism, Neuralgia, Fever and Ague, Swellings Htiffuess, and Pains of various kinds, with Radway Ready Relief; nnd many of his frlonds have been cured of Dyspepsia, Costiveness, Indigestion, Ao., by Rad way’s Regulators. The R. R. Remedies are sold by Druggists generally. oct 24 12t DKNTIHTKY. DR. WOLFE’S Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps. fl^HE above-named preparation lias become exteu- 1 slvely known throughout the length nnd breadth ofthe United States, and is universally admitted to be tho most dollghtfnl, healthful, invigorating and pure r reparation ot the juniper berry, that science, aud a ong practice iu the distillation aaa preparation of pure liquors haa ever auooeetled in producing. A long-established manufacturer and importer of liquors of every description, the undersigned devoted himself to the production of an article of pure Gin, wHch should prove a valuable agent iu the cure of the manifold diseases which afflict the human race, and fur whioh Holland Gin has been prescribed by the medioal faculty for years. At length bis efforts were crowned with suooess, at his aatensivs distillery in Schiedam, Holland, from which place the purest Gin has long beeu luiported.aud he was enabled to give to the world his Schnapps, whioh. for purity, and entire freedom from the pernicious luscl oil end all other noxious ingro- diouts, aud delightful aromatio flavor, has never been artiole upon tho unsuspecting community, and, like ths wolf in sheep's olothtng, prey upuu their very vitals, he resorted to the expedient oi importing ~~ J - ••• Schnapps only in pint aud quart bottles. importing and selling his . art bottles. of glass, stamped with tho name of me mauuiauiurer: are corked and sealed, and have printed labels bearing the signature of U dolp/io Wolvk upon them. They are also inclosed in colored wrap pers, also bearing his signature, in which form alone they can be obtaiued in eases, containing two dosen bottles each. Notwithstanding all these guards, unprincipled par ties have been fouud guilty of tho unwarrantable aud criminal practice ■ f buying up empty bottles, filling them with vile common gin, which is tho most perni cious poison with which a community was ever cursed, and sends thousands to a wretched drunkard's grave yearly. It is only necessary, therefore, for tboso who purchase the artiole by retail, nr drink it at publio places, to mark well the appearance of the bottles from which they drink. Caution is nsoesssry. ^Tho Schnapps havel been introduced bnt about . years, but in that brief time their virtues havo beeu acknowledged to an almost inorcdible extent, until it Is - matter of some difficulty to koo^t up a supply ade quate to the demand, so fast are orders pouring iu from •very State and territory in tho Uuion, from Maino to Oregon and California. Determined that the virtues of the Schnapps should be thoroughly substantiated by the most undeniable and unquestionable testimonials, circulars were dispatched to every regular member of the Medioal Faculty aud professional Chemist whose name could be obtained, soliciting their acceptance of a bottle of the Hofiaapps, with a view of enabling them to test its medicinal qual ities in their praotice, and submit it to the strictest ohemical analysis in their laboratories. Of the ten thousand physiuisns and chemists in the United States, about four thousand accepted the offer. Upwards or two thousand have promptly furnished their written endorsement that the article is all that gis claimed for it, and in the strongest language recom mended ite general use, not only as a remedial agent, delightful, harmless and pleasant beverage.— These voluntary endorsements arc from gentlemen of unquestionable knowledge and the most perfect scieuce. Nor alone have practitioners and chemiste furnished their testimonials. Tl^e publio press, in almost every principal city and town, has boldly spoken in its favor its editorial columns. The New York Medioal Oasetto and Journal of Health, high authority, has repeatedly prooiaimed its excellence. Iu the July number of that Journal, Dr. Reeso its accomplished editor, has publioly invited a discussion upon the oubjeot of the uso of alooholio mix tures. medioiually, in fils widely circulating columns, and the views of the medical faculty in reference to my Schnapps, in particular, giving an assurance that they should be spread before the publio. Physicians, there fore, who have not already complied with my request to forward me their opiuion, as to iU qualities, will oblige by doing so through the editor of the Medioal Oa- sotts. Story. L.
