Mr. Trica offered an objection to thia bill, which elloited from Mr. Perris, of Dade, a spicy address. He said thegen men hsd constitutional scruples in regard to passage of almost every bill. That he opposed removal of the Boat of Government because, iaeh au act would be obnoxious to tbe Laws an d Constitution of Georgia, and made a very good speech in aupport of hie views, for which the ladies presented him a bunch of dog-wood bios- 10ms. That if tho 23rd chapter and flret verse Deuteronomy wore presented to him, he would db cover somo loature therein, in conflict with those bulwarks of our liberties. He said The gentle- min has completely swallowed the Constitution, and I think has a desire to puke it up. He is like the ■errant, who at the bidding of his master, went iuto his shop for a drink of brandy, but made a mistake and drspk a glass of Spirits of Turpoutine.
